Zhou Meihong

He is the only representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage project "Huizhou ink" in China.

Zhou Meihong is an outstanding craftsman from Huizhou. He inherited the fine traditions of the Ming and Qing dynasties and developed and produced complete sets of "collection inks", such as "Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Ink" and "Zodiac Ink".

The development of ultra-fine oil soot and pine soot inks, such as "Li Tinggui Baomo", "Gongmo", "Jin Buyi", "Special Grade Pure Pine Soot", "Songyun", etc., are deeply loved and favored by calligraphers and painters.

With unwavering dedication and meticulous attention to detail, they craft high-quality ink, devoting their entire lives to the art of ink making. Through three generations of inheritance and innovation, they continue the spirit of craftsmanship. Just as Zhou Meihong said, "Being a person is like making ink; one's character is like the quality of one's ink." Ancient Huizhou ink, flowing with the spirit of brush and ink.
