The pear shape is also the most classic form for Zhuni teapots, said to have been created by Hui Mengchen, and has been seen throughout history. Its minimalist and understated lines, each a rounded tangent, result in a low center of gravity, making it one of the most stable shapes among round vessels. The unassuming, plain form showcases the unique charm of this small teapot. The spout is slender and graceful, with three bends of varying thickness.
