This chair is made of high-density purple sandalwood, which is jet black and glossy. Purple sandalwood, also known as East African blackwood, has a high density, and the patina formed after polishing is like that of beautiful jade.
This chair inherits the Ming style, simple and elegant. The crest rail is raised in the center and curves upwards at both ends. The three-curved backrest is made from a single plank with a significant curve, crafted from a large piece of wood, especially with numerous arches at the bottom, providing support for the user's lower back and ensuring comfort. The armrests and connecting rods also feature graceful three-curved designs, exuding elegance. The seat is woven rattan, with gradually sloping edges, and three sides are fitted with plain, arched aprons.
