Volume: Approximately 220 ml Weight: Approximately 188 grams

A three-legged teapot with a taotie pattern, forged from pure silver.

Its design originates from wine vessels found on bronze artifacts from the Shang Dynasty. During the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, these vessels were not used to hold water, but rather to hold fine wine.

The belly of the pot is naturally bulging, decorated with taotie and meander patterns. Below the belly are three feet, all hammered and forged from a single piece. The rim of the pot is decorated with patterns, and the lid is also decorated with taotie and meander patterns. The ebony handle and knob of the pot serve as heat insulation.

After surface sulfurization, the black surface is polished off, leaving the black lines, giving the object a rustic charm.

It is a classic teapot shape from Dayatang, forged by the master craftsman Hong Jike.
