This design has existed since ancient times, and the designer found the modeling material in natural fruits and vegetables, which differs from the practice of adding drum nails to a consecrated vase.
These drum stools are made of African rosewood, whose heartwood is classified as padauk in the national standard "Rosewood" (GB/T 18107-2017). The wood has a warm, lustrous color. Four small copper rings are nailed to the inner wall of the stool, allowing for the attachment of silk ribbons for easy carrying.
