A pure silver ewer with hammered patterns.
Weight: 385g, Volume: 650ml
The bowl shape best embodies the ancient Eastern aesthetic of simplicity, harmony, and unpretentiousness. The bowl is elegantly and rusticly forged with a hammer; the flat lid is wrapped with silver thread from old vine, and the handle is woven from old vine, creating a simple and refined aesthetic.
The teapot is made of 9999 sterling silver, entirely handcrafted from a single piece. Except for the handle and lid, the rest of the body is made from a single piece of gold and silver, without any welding. It is crafted entirely through meticulous hammering, undergoing 40 quenchings and 150,000 forgings – a complex and challenging process. The rounded body of the teapot requires tens of thousands of hammer blows to achieve its shape in one continuous stroke. Although lacking intricate decorations, its simple and unadorned form, with its full shape and flowing lines, is pleasing to the eye and displays a restrained beauty.
This product is produced by Dayatang Intangible Cultural Heritage, and made by Hong Jike, an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of silver forging.
