This screen was originally from the Prince Gong's Mansion, and its traditional craftsmanship has been revived in a Ming and Qing dynasty collection. Below, the screen depicts outstretched wings, carved with ruyi scrolls, waves, and bats, symbolizing "boundless blessings." The screen rests on a single vase-shaped base, supported by scrolling dragons and other aprons. The base is shaped like a begonia, with a low, constricted waist, and a carved apron panel with ancient jade patterns.
