This tea caddy features a body made of burl wood, also known as burlwood, prized for its natural shape and grain, reminiscent of a tree trunk. The wood's texture is as fine as cow's hair or as delicate as flowing water, capturing the charm of nature. The lid, shoulder, and base are made of pure tin, its luster reflecting like winter frost, creating a striking contrast with the burl wood's grain and adding to its overall appeal. The simple, round tin lid provides a good seal, preserving the aroma of the tea. Made by Lu Xiaokan, an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of tin carving.

One day, passing by Lu Ban's workshop, I saw an ancient tree, its trunk bare, rugged, solid, and smooth. I wondered which deity had planted it there. I gazed at it for a long time, reluctant to leave! I begged Lu Ban to bestow some wood upon me, and Brother Lu, the inheritor of the intangible art of tin carving, displayed his extraordinary skills. Indeed, it was the art of tin carving! The freely swirling tin, like waves, enveloped the tangled knots and scars, the life's experiences presented in the soft warmth of the object. In a short while, a magnificent piece was born. I knew that the old deity, through Brother Lu's eloquent hands, was using this object to teach people to love all things in heaven and earth. And so I understood!
